The Elite Inshore rods are back, now featuring 30-Ton Graphite blanks to provide an exceptionally lightweight and sensitive blank. Additionally, Fenwick’s Carbon Core construction utilizes an inner spiral carbon wrap layer on the blank with outer layers of rolled carbon. This construction, along with Fenwick’s Carbon Bound woven carbon twill, increases blank strength and provides a lightweight, strong, and balanced rod. Combined with high quality AAA cork and Fuji® K guides with Alconite inserts, the Fenwick Elite inshore offers a strong, more durable rod that maintains the light weight feel and sensitivity Fenwick rods were crafted for.

    Broke first fish,

    Rod broke off 1’ from the tip with first fish as soon as pulled it on shore. Was hopefully for a better product.

    Misleading Promotion

    Be careful! The website photo shows the newest model, but that is not what you actually get. I ordered the heavy 7-foot rod and received a conventional style instead of a baitcaster. Note that this rod lacks a trigger handle at the reel seat.
