Very lightweight and great power
I have three different models and use them mostly for Snapper and Grouper offshore and Tarpon and big Redfish inshore. They are much lighter than most "musky" type rods and the actions are perfect for different jigs and larger baits. The guides are very tough and the grip selection is perfect. They look great too and yes, that matters a good bit!
They go far beyond freshwater applications and I'd recommend them anyone who fishes large baits and lures both inshore and offshore in saltwater.

Awesome rod for the money.
Purchase the 8 foot medium heavy for casting bucktails, especially D10's. This Rod is light, fast and chuck a bait a mile. I love the load up and sensitivity for a Muskie Rod at this price. This is my 3rd in the series, already have the 8 foot and 8 1/2 foot heavy casting. For the price, you can't beat it. Thank you Fenwick for keeping the Elite Tech Muskie Series alive!

Great Musky Rod
I bought the 8'-0" MH, Fast action model specifically for fishing Musky bucktails, topwater, and smaller crankbaits. I wasn't disappointed, these are excellent rods, not the typical big bulky musky rod, it is lightweight and nicely balanced. I caught my personal best, a 52" monster last summer while using this rod. The lighter MH power was more than capable of handling the giant fish.

Outstanding rods from Fenwick
I have had and used many different manufacturers' rods and these days there are alot to choose from. The Elite Tech Predator isn't just a good client rod, it's a dang fine primary rod. I've found myself growing very attached to these models lately. If I had to criticize anything, I would like to see about an inch or inch and a half added to the butt length but it is certainly on par with anything else out there short of customs.

Eureka
This well balanced and light weight rod is my heavy work horse. It’s my rod of choice every time I head out fishing. Use it with conventional and casting reels depending on the fish that’s targeted. Great for small rock fish to good size halibut. It makes Ugly Stik diehards like myself to spend a bit more to upgrade. Thanks Pure Fishing for providing great fishing product brands.

So close to being an awesome muskie rod!
So close to being a awesome Muskie rod. excellent rod for the price. Only thing in really struggle with is the handle, I wish it is larger and longer (or at least have an option to buy an extended end). it doesn't fit well under your arm like other muskie rods. Even with that suggestion, it is a great rod for muskie fishing and has withstood a lot of pressure and fish!

Great rod for several ways of presentation
You can cast, troll, jig - you name it and this rod will do it. The stainless eyes are nice and durable, and the rod blank makes it a strong tool for handling large species. I've fished my Predator rod for, and caught; Sturgeon, Lake Trout, Northern Pike, Salmon, and Lingcod. It handles well, and has taken a beating throughout my travels, without failure yet.
