TROLLING
It doesn’t matter if you’re running planner boards or flat-lining crankbaits, the key to any good trolling rod is the ratio of backbone strength to tip flex. A 60/40 delay gives you all the power needed in a high modulus fish fighting butt section and a soft flexible tip that allows your bait to work properly. It’s no secret that big muskies need a big figure 8 at boat side. These rods are long enough to figure 8 even the largest of fish.
